Casa di Dante - Firenze in Toscana
Nel cuore della Firenze medioevale, tra la chiesa di S. Martino e la Piazza dei Donati, sorgevano nel Duecento le case degli Alighieri, le cui tracce rimangono in alcuni documenti del tempo. Agli inizi del Novecento dopo studi e ricerche, il Comune di Firenze fece costruire la casa sul luogo dove la tradizione vuole sia nato Dante. Qui ha sede il Museo Casa di Dante, riaperto al pubblico il 1° giugno 1994, che si articola in tre piani che scandiscono i momenti fondamentali della vita del poeta.
Al primo piano sono documentati gli aspetti della Firenze di quei tempi, e insieme la giovinezza di Dante, il battesimo nel "bel San Giovanni" (il Battistero di S.
