L'hotel Martelli, ospitato in un antico palazzo appartenete alla famiglia dei Medici, è situato nel centro storico di Firenze, a due passi dal Duomo, dagli Uffizi, dai principali musei fiorentini e dalla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella.
Si dice che Caterina dei Medici (1519-1589) soggiornasse nella camera numero 47 quando veniva in visita a Firenze.
Alcune aree interne dell'hotel, come i salotti e la sala colazione, hanno mantenuto lo stile fiorentino con mobili antichi e splendidi affreschi alle pareti, altre invece sono caratterizzate da un arredamento moderno che ben si sposa con la struttura raffinata dell'albergo.
L'hotel offre inoltre un servizio di baby-sitter a pagamento. I cani di piccola taglia sono ammessi con un supplemento.
