General Information
Traveling on the Chiantigiana road and upon arriving to Ugolino Golf Club you can see a long boulevard coasted by shrubs of wild roses that leads to a construction surrounded by a grove of cypresses. The villa was called Villa I Cipressi to honor those strong and proud trees that the time doesn't dare to graze.
In 1939 Professor Carlo Arcangeli planned and built the villa that rests on a quarry of stones.
The inside of the villa is elegantly furnished and the sensation is of great familiarity, this is attributed to Mrs. Monica, the daughter of Professor Arcangeli, who inherited the house together with her husband Alessandro, they have tried to create a comfortable environment giving to the guest rooms with every comfort and a great cuisine wether typically Tuscan or international proudly prepared by the Lady of the house for her guest to rediscover the pleasure of good food very often forgotten in this rushed life.
A fantastic outdoor swimming pool is available for a relaxing and refreshing swim during the hot summer days.
The area where the Villa I Cipressi is located has a very pleasant climate; the moderate climate and the exuberant nature create very unique feelings.
The antique furniture and the wooded structure of the building, create a very warm and relaxing environment ideal for a great vacation, the outgoing nature of the owners will charm you into returning for a next visit.A good vacation is synonymous of a good cuisine. When you come to our house you will enjoy very good food served with a delicious Chianti wine. From the terrace you will be able to experience the breathtaking sunset.
